Native Instruments now offers a
platform/interface update for the B4 Organ that makes the award-winning organ emulation
compatible with Mac OS X and RTAS.
RTAS is also included for Windows XP with the update. The update offers the following:
- Mac OS X- support - standalone and as plug-in
- Support for Core Audio and Core MIDI on Mac OS X
- Support for the plug-in formats Audio Units, RTAS and VST
2.0 on Mac OS X
- Support for RTAS on Windows XP
With this update the B4 Organ is now compatible with the
latest platforms and plug-in interfaces. This allows you to run the B4 Organ stand-alone
or as a plug-in with the following sequencer systems:
- Pro Tools on Windows XP and Mac OS X (via RTAS)
- Logic Audio on Mac OS X (via Audio Units)
- Digital Performer on Mac OS X (as soon as Audio Units are
supported by DP)
- Cubase SX and Nuendo on Mac OS X (via VST 2.0)
- All other host systems that support RTAS, Audio Units or
VST 2.0 on Mac OS X
Additional Interfaces
Of course the B4 Organ keeps its previous interfaces VST 2.0 (Windows and Mac OS 9), DXi,
MAS and FreeMIDI. |
