Overview

Avid is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Torq 1.5.3 for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. This is a no-charge update available to owners of Torq 1.5 and can be downloaded from the Support page on www.m-audio.com.

Snow Leopard compatibility

Torq 1.5.3 addresses the issue of compatibility with Apple’s Snow Leopard operating system.

Previous versions of Torq 1.5 will not run on this operating system so all customers currently using Snow Leopard should upgrade to this version.

Torq 1.5.3 only fixes the issue of compatibility with the Snow Leopard OS. There are no additional bugfixes or feature additions compared to Torq 1.5.2. Therefore, for Windows users and Mac OS X 10.5 users, Torq 1.5.2 remains the latest supported version.

Official Conectiv and Xponent drivers

Along with the official release of Torq 1.5.3 for Snow Leopard, the Conectiv and Xponent drivers for Snow Leopard have been promoted from beta releases to fully-supported releases. These new drivers should be used in conjunction with Torq 1.5.3 on Snow Leopard and can be downloaded from the Support page on the www.m-audio.com Website.
